Well, if you look closely, you'll notice that there is both a kettle and a pot - although neither of them are black. Also, the gun is pointed either east or west (depending on which way the monkey is facing), and one of the monkey's feet is firmly gripped on the BACK of the chair (not the front).
I think this is a very clear representation of the old (and easily understood) saying,
"if the mountain is upside down, then snow does't always land on Mars."
