First: that's not going to happen without massive discounts and salary retentions and neither of those is going to provide "seeds".
Second: if everyone brought in is young....who is going to show them how to be professionals on the ice? (One of the small benefits of Looch.) Yes, the coaches will do that...but it's different on the ice.
You just can't dump everyone. There's a middle ground and it's - if done with care and thought and planning - the optimal path. I'm not smart enough to know what that is, but I'm pretty sure that the radical crap spewed on here by some posters isn't "it".

You can’t move all of them right now or this off-season or during the next season.
What you can do is recognize that the collection of players you have assembled is not good enough to do anything except get speed bagged in the first round by the eventual champions à la Nashville last year with a Colorado and the Jets this year against Vegas, and allow your new GM to sell off the assets he has in due course, with the goal of assembling a new group of young, fast, talented players who can actually contend when your $1.2B arena project opens to the public.
None of these players have a reason to want to be here except for money and you can’t win anything when that’s your only motivation.
Because you’ll be playing against teams with more and better players who play for each other because they grew up together.
