Think you're wrong about that. The scorched earth crowd wants to chuck everybody, including Huby, Weegar and Kadri, Lindholm, Hanafin, Toffoli, Markstrom. There may also be others.
First: that's not going to happen without massive discounts and salary retentions and neither of those is going to provide "seeds".
Second: if everyone brought in is young....who is going to show them how to be professionals on the ice? (One of the small benefits of Looch.) Yes, the coaches will do that...but it's different on the ice.
You just can't dump everyone. There's a middle ground and it's - if done with care and thought and planning - the optimal path. I'm not smart enough to know what that is, but I'm pretty sure that the radical crap spewed on here by some posters isn't "it".
