World order changes, reserve currency changes, nations rise above and become rich, massive debt ensues, inflation and money printing happens, class division increases, wealth gets consolidated, political divide becomes a huge factor and gets worse.
These things have happened many times throughout history, it seems bad to us because it's the first time in our lifetimes.

The big difference now is that it's the entire world going through this cycle, not an individual nation or empire, and there's catastrophic damage being done to the planet that we've never seen before. When previous civilizations failed there was always someone else able to rise up and pick up the pieces, what happens when humanity as a whole all goes to #### at the same time?
