Except for those talking “scorched earth” what they’re actually proposing is acquiring the seeds to plant for a better tomorrow.
By comparison what the Flames have historically done is let things erode, and stand confused in a barren field with no seeds to plant. They’ve let their existing crop die of drought, and have no plan for the future.
Scorched earth is better than what the Flames have done. Not that you are, but it is wild to see people be afraid of the Flames changing their approach. So stuck in their ways despite a complete lack of success in the last 3 decades - including, and more specifically, the entire modern era.
