I think Father time has an impact, and I think there's a wave of teams with impactful young players coming into the league that will make an impact while some of our most important players won't be able to keep up (Backlund, Kadri, Markstrom, Tanev specifically).

I think trying to predict next years finish based on today's roster is a waste of time, we could have young impact players come in, we could have overpaid free agents, we could just get picks that are a couple years out.
This could be a playoff team, could finish 26th at worst I think.
I think we trade a couple guys at the draft and hold a couple till the deadline where even if you're in playoff contention you still have to trade.
Might be too hard to complete all the moves rumoured in such a short timeframe.
