A) Very few teams can take on a contract like Hanifin (never mind the huge extension he’ll be getting) without sending cap back the other way. Look at the teams being bandied around - FLA, PIT, DAL. They’re all capped.
B) As much as fans here desperately want a rebuild, there’s no evidence the team is changing strategic direction.
