How don’t you see a lot of experience with Huska. He’s paid his dues at every level & literally has playing experience at every level.
On top of that, he was a centerman who focused on coaching defence, reciprocating growth in both his understanding of the game and his players in the WHL, AHL, & NHL.
Recent sign-&-trade Dman, Damon Severson… developed in Junior by Ryan Huska.
I think Love is and will be an excellent coach, but Huska has as much or more experience and pedigree of supporting, elevating and developing players as anyone.
