I like FS but his info is not the same as mine. The last info I have is that both Lindholm and the Flames want to get an extension done and he does want to be a Calgary Flame. Now maybe that changed because the Flames made a take it or leave it offer that didn't match what Lindholm was asking. As I reported before, I had heard they were $1M/yr apart from my source, if that is an 8 year term that is $8M over the length of the deal. That is a lot of money for the player to walk away from. Maybe they couldn't agree on length of term. Maybe they couldn't agree on clauses and bonuses. Many things could have happened since I last got any info so FS could be accurate here, I honestly don't know.
