Just now on 960, Seravalli just said that Hanifin has notified the Flames that he’s not likely to resign, Backlund is leaning toward not resigning and Lindholm, the “lynchpin”, is deciding if he wants to resign.
Apparently the Flames aren’t applying any pressure for a decision from him.
I’m afraid that after all the drama at the end of the year this is gonna end up worse than ever.
I’d hope that even though no pressure is being directly applied, a deadline is in mind and trades are made sooner not later. But, that would make Conroy look bad in the way that “you told me to take my time with a decision, then you made it for me.”
