How does it work with Landeskog on IR. You can exceed cap in the off-season but you can't move players to LTIR until the season starts? So can they really add Kadri.
I don't think it's likely but any deal involving the Avs probably has Girard coming back. It seems like they've been trying to move him for ages.
Newhook is also possibly a preference for them over moving their 1st.
