The approach was sound. Sometimes sound approaches don't lead to the ideal outcome.

BPA is the best approach. If you're constantly reaching you may hit on those picks, but you don't do that in the first round. Take the BPA and use it as an asset because it's more of a known quantity that you can rely on. Then take your swings in the other rounds.
