I was really hoping he'd land elsewhere and in a place like Colorado for this price. Best of luck to him and hopefully he can get his career back on track. It's disappointing to see such a talented player fall off due to injuries.

In hindsight knowing what we know, it seems like the Flames would have been better off to have never made this trade, and then not signed Kadri. But hey, that's why they play the games I guess. For all we know, Kadri wins playoff MVP next year when Flames hoist the cup. I don't like the chances of that happening though.
