Yeah, exactly. A similar specced Diverge was significantly more than several other bikes, including the Checkpoint. And it sounds like the $4200 one you looked at is what I have, an SL5.
Integrated cabling, downtube storage, isospeed seatpost, threaded BB, published tire clearance of 45 but can fit bigger, and I wanted 2X gearing which that model has.
