I think you are a little high on Evans. I like his skill level but those types of under-sized skilled dmen are still in tough to make the NHL. For every Fox/Makar/Hughes (who all have unreal skill levels) you have a pile of others who don't make it.
I like him but not as a key piece of a deal for the Flames.
I might be inclined to gather Goyette more.
The framework and fit broadly make sense though between the two teams.
