I doubt there's many suiters for Huberdeau right now. Too many teams with cap issues and Huberdeau was awful last year.
If all of Hanifin, Lindholm, and Toffoli are gone, then the plan for 2023/24 should be to showcase the remaining vets. Let Huberdeau play poor defence and put up a 100+ season. It'll make it a lot easier to move him a the next trade deadline/off season.
You also call up the kids. Who knows, a couple may turn out to replace what Lindholm and Toffoli were bringing and you end up with a competitive team.
