Then why even include both 1st round picks at all?
I mean, it is a different conversation if we are trading Huberdeau ++ for an additional 1st rounder… or to move to the top 3 (for example)… but for a swap when they are so close together? Doesn’t make sense

I also agree that not paying Lindholm makes no sense. To me, both should be retained and played together in a non-Sutter restricted system. I think Huberdeau would find Lindholm for amazing goals, just like how Gaudreau did.
