Guess it depends on what is 'fun'. I played Wingfield last week, and while getting a tee time was easy, and the price wasn't bad ($55 on week day). I thought it was in awful shape, that is not fun to me.
Might be out of the way but its hard to beat Strathmore when it comes to condition and value. $52 Monday-Friday, $68 on weekends, and then twilight is $40 every day after 4pm.
Also have a cool deal right now called '9 and Dine', $30 for 9 holes and a $10 voucher for the restaurant.
All this, and the driving range is off actual grass not those silly mats that just make you think you're doing something that you're not.
