He has won it all and continues to contribute thanks to his work effort and that should he something the young guys on the team look up to and learn from. I'd rather they have Tofolli as a mentor than Kadri.

I don't think saying Kadri sulked/was overpaid when it was a toxic work environment is fair at all when we look at what we know now.
If you like the idea of signing Toffoli, that's cool - but I don't think this team needs to be saddling themselves with contracts where they're paying older players big dollars into their mid/late 30s - we have enough of those already. We need to balance them with younger players. You give Toffoli credit for having "won it all" but Toffoli won that Cup a decade ago with a Coach that was just pushed out of town because he created a nightmarish environment for his team, meanwhile Kadri "won it all" a year ago and was one of the players who reportedly spoke up against that coach this past year.
