I thought the Flash was good. It's the best "Story" DC has put out in quite some time. The script seemed pretty tight and the pacing was good.

I thought Ezra Miller was downright annoying in his Justice League portrayal of the Flash, but I found this to be a much better characterization of Barry Allen/The Flash.

There will be a lot of talk about the CGI, for the action scenes it was fine and pretty standard for what's out there these days. The CGI'ing of people was awful, like downright terrible. The only silver lining was that there was so much of it that it felt less jarring than Rogue One where it just shows up out of nowhere.

The CGI cameos were completely unnecessary and because the CGI was so bad, they didn't land like you'd want them to. They looked like Video Game cut scenes from the 90s

For me I thought it was good and worth seeing. It's the best story that they've put out and hit on some notes that the DCEU hasn't hit on at all up to this point.

If you can't separate the character from the actor, then I guess that'll affect your opinion of it. Which is fair.
