I wouldn't describe Vegas as building through young cost controlled players was the point I'm making. These guys were mid career outside of Theodore and they traded young prospects and futures or cut bait on other players to sign the pieces they needed which were pretty much all established nhlers. Im not implying a negative connotation I just mean they signed or traded for established guys... The team was not built through the draft or young non proven players for the most part. It can be done technically signing short term fixes if your picking up the right players like Vegas.
