Spider-Verse was an animated work of art. Solid 8.5/10.
Spoiler!
Pacing and length were the only thing that bothered me. The beginning segment in Spider-Gwen's world was fantastic; Mumbattan was also great. As was spider-verse HQ, and of course Miles's world. That it took such a long time to get between the worlds with a relatively thin underpinning, connective story was an issue.
I've considered that it could be because it was so much going on that maybe I started to feel lost or overwhelmed, and I reserve the right to change my mind upon seeing it again.. But it does lead me into another point: at times the movie felt a bit overloaded with characters and easter eggs that it started to affect the film. 20-30 minutes could have been chopped out, and the movie could have been tightened up.
