I do love the Seth Jarvis pickup. I think he is ready to take a big step. I would also see if they could get Carolina’s first round pick (30th overall) in the trade for Lindholm. Might have to add in a 2nd round pick from Calgary to get that done:

To Carolina:
Lindholm
Calgary’s 2nd round pick (48th overall)

To Calgary:
Seth Jarvis
Carolina’s 1st round pick (30th overall)

I know some think the return for Lindholm looks small considering the pick is so late in the first round. Have to keep in mind that Jarvis is one of if not their best young player. Only been in the league for 2 years and has put up back-to back 40 point seasons as a centre. He plays fast and is a really smart player with a great shot. He would fit in with Huberdeau really well I think.

Lindholm’s value is really hard to gauge. He may be worth more but that is a very good young player coming back.
