It’s a deep draft, and they lack teenagers with upside. They’re not winning a cup this year no matter what, so may as well add some high value, low cost assets to the coffers.
Even if they just sold Hanifin and Toffoli - I think they almost have to walk away from this draft with at least two 1st round selections.

If they sell Hanifin I think it will be for another top 6 forward. I find it hard to believe they will trade Toffoli unless they get a younger player back with term to replace him. Even then I doubt it as the mandate is to win this year and I believe I remember Conroy saying he was excited to see what Toffoli brings next year.
