I can't see Conny not capitalizing on this very deep draft if he has to move any of Toffoli, Lindholm or Hanifin. He's a draft nerd. I believe he knows this is likely the best time to maximize asset management.

I have doubt that’s what he’ll try and do.
I’m just not so certain other teams will comply, especially if teams sense he’s anxious to pull the trigger prior to the draft.
It takes two teams to make a trade. Yes, Calgary wants to take advantage of a deep draft. Other teams are just as anxious to keep those early picks in this draft.
