Apparently fatalities also skew heavily against motorcyclists, something like 30 times more likely.
You'd see the odd police chase online and the horrific outcomes when the human body gets up to speed on a bike and the you can see why. I think it was just last year, the impact was so crazy the guy cartwheeled and basically lost all his clothes. Nightmares of just the ragdolling.

I have a very good friend who is an ER nurse. She would tell me the survival rate of motorcycle-related accidents would pale in comparison to those involved in a car accident. They were also absolutely horrific... which for someone who is used to seeing that kind of thing is quite a statement.
She rarely ever straight out told me to do anything, but was pretty clear about me taking up motorcycling.
