Apparently fatalities also skew heavily against motorcyclists, something like 30 times more likely.
You'd see the odd police chase online and the horrific outcomes when the human body gets up to speed on a bike and the you can see why. I think it was just last year, the impact was so crazy the guy cartwheeled and basically lost all his clothes. Nightmares of just the ragdolling.

I lived that situation. Years back a guy in a motorcycle rear ended me. I was cruising at a good pace on Crowchild and I saw the bike closing in fast in my rearview. Seconds later some ####### decided to change lanes without checking and cut me off and I had to slam my brakes. No problem for me but as I slowed down I could see like in slow motion the biker going way too fast and imminent collision in the back of my car. He hit my rear and the bike went up the back of my car and I watched as he went cartwheeling forward past the driver side of my car. He was in bad shape and they had to cut his jacket off before they took him away in a stretcher. The police retrieved one of his shoes about 25 feet forward from where he hit my car. Out of coincidence he was a TD customer as well so when I was dealing with insurance I asked them how he was doing and they said not good as he was still in the hospital two weeks later.
