I guess that boils down to which is the bigger loss? The extra 1st from the Tkachuk deal or letting Lindholm walk. Bear in mind that the Flames thought process isn't exactly fan derived "common sense".
It's pretty evident the Lindholm is priority #1 for Conroy and the teams management.
