i agree with EE's take on it. The city itself doesn't really care about the Stampeders, the team has left the public consciousness. When I was back home this weekend for the Bomber homer opener I saw a lot of Bomber lawn signs, license plates, car decals. Just as many as Jets stuff. Out here the Stamps are almost invisible. When I moved here in 97 that was not the case. Tailgating was fun, lots of Stamps fans in the city, people cared. Really sad to see, I think its awful for the league when any western market goes sour.
