Maybe I missed something but did Hanifin say he wants to stay? Not that it matters what players say publicly. Johnny and Tkachuck both said they wanted to say. Johnny in a more compelling way and on more than one occasion.
Anyway, can’t recall the exact quote but I remember Hanifin offering up at the year end press availability an NHLPA boiler plate type response when asked….maybe that’s a good thing?
