But with no Lindholm, why do “we” want to commit the term and dollars to Hanifin?
He’s never been a PP guy, and he won’t be any time soon with Andersson and Weegar and even OK and Poirier needing offensive touches.
He’s not some sort of elite witch defensively like Tanev (who himself is not worth more than a 4-year commitment as a prime UFA).
He’s going to be very expensive, and he brings the same thing as three other guys, and it’s debatable he’s better than any of them.
