Sutter wasn't the only part of the culture issue in the room. You can't fire the millionaire divas, but you can make them someone else's problem. I don't know if Hanafin is one of them, but the Flames should be ready to move on from any player that felt okay pouting rather then playing.
If Hanafin wasn't a problem then I am fine extending him. But if they aren't sure if they can sign him then move him. The Flames can't afford to lose that type of asset for nothing.
