Well, singing to them probably isnt going to help, but I think you're vastly underrating the importance to this team of guys like Tanev and Toffoli.
Sure, they're getting long in the tooth...but who are you going to replace them with.
Last season Toffoli seemed to score highest on the GAF meter and frankly, this team routinely falls completely apart in the absence of Tanev.
Definitely problematic, but I wouldnt be dismissive of it.
