This makes the Weegar deal look like a steal in all honesty.

Severson is very suspect defensively, stinks on the PP for whatever reason, but does provide offense and puck moving ability at five on five.

He is coming off a great season in an insulated role this past year playing just shy of under 20 minutes a game (which is only a minute more a night than Zadorov for example). This is just the first time during his career he has managed to break even at even strength in terms of goal differential.

This one is not going to age well in my books.
