I recall people being shocked that Moritz Seider went ahead of Cozens, and Zegras in 2019.

At this point I'd probably still rather have Zegras than Seider...but Seider is probably in the top three behind Hughes and Zegras (IMO).

Agree with everything there except Zegras over Seider. A big, minute-munching, two-way #1D is more valuable than anyone except an elite #1C. And while Zegras has elite offensive skills, he’s still very one-dimensional and shaky without the puck.
