I absolutely love the bow valley parkway ride, but that is a terrific ride even with traffic on it, and is good all summer.
The Highwood road is in much worse shape and isn’t as good to ride when traffic is on it, so I like to get out on that while it’s closed and otherwise won’t be on it again this year. But both are amazing rides.

I might be in the minority but I've never liked Highwood pass from the north side, only climbing is at the end and the rest is unremarkable from a riding perspective. No sweeping turns, always debris, road is pretty crap. I also might be a negative Nancy
