So it seems that Apple's offering is going to be a mixture of VR (virtual), AR (augmented) and XR (extended)?
I would assume that if it can't see your face, either you scan in a version of your face for face time, or you use that moving emoji face that is based on tracking your face movements?

I bought XR glasses for the purpose of traveling. Like on a plane. Agreed that it might not replace a full sound system, but for someone living in an apartment with people who complain constantly of sound, or someone traveling, I think it's an option that they didn't have before for an immersive experience.
