The Calgary Flames are entering the second-round of their head coaching search, with the final four candidates set to be interviewed again this week.

It is believed that former New York Rangers head coach Gerard Gallant and former Vancouver Canucks head coach Travis Green have been under consideration for the job and it’s possible one or both are among the remaining four contenders.

Flames GM Craig Conroy is hoping to secure his club’s new coach in the next two weeks and then shift his primary focus to the NHL Draft.
