Historically there is a pretty huge drop from 20A to 3OA, perhaps this year is different, but it's still anything but a guarantee.

The reports from the "experts" say that drop doesn't happen until after 4 and that Fantilli, Carlsson and the Russian are closer to Bedard than the others behind them.
Yes bad picks can happen at any spot, I am not sure teams plan based on them making a terrible pick, if that is how they operate why would they want the picks coming back in the deal?
