I've been a Gallant fan for a long time since his Panthers days. I get the trepidation because of the constant short tenures despite success, but I think he's a good coach that preaches disciplined defensive play and yet he likes creativity. To me, that's exactly what this team needs desperately. He's experienced and proven, and he could be a good mentor to a recently promoted Love.
I can't see Conroy being a guy that gets bothered by a cantankerous coach that he butts heads with occasionally. Conroy is the ultimate team guy who knows how to check his ego, and he'll manage that aspect of Gallant if need be, just as long as the team wins.
I'm not as scared about this as many others on this site, but I do understand why people wouldn't want him either.
