If I'm his agent, yeah, I would sign a bridge deal that takes me to the doorstep of UFA land, or a short as possible bridge deal.
He's going to get over paid, there's no doubt, he puts up points on the powerplay, needs to have his ass stapled to the bench in 5v5 time. But for Edmonton where the pp is everything.
