What do you think he's been doing for all of these years with Trelviing? What was Treliving doing for those years in Arizona? In those years under Burke? Sure, Conroy won't have the time in the role yet -- but I'm sure relationships around the executive offices across the league have been built in the nearly 9 years he spent under Treliving. Not to mention the people he'll know around the league from his playing days.
He won't be as plugged in as Treliving, not to start. But it's not like he's been disconnected all this time either.
