The secret with Treliving is getting him to overpay through media hype. If Conroy wants to deal anyone, create a media frenzy and Treliving will call offering the wealth of picks. Flavours of the month he wants in. The difference in this case is Shanahan seems to have a strong sense of not making moves that mess with long term sustainability so it’ll probably keep Treliving in check.
