Well, Feds have pledged a financial and organizational audit for soccer Canada and funding restrictions until the CSA gets their house in order.

DeVos now secretary under new president Crooks.
They are saying all the right things as you'd expect and will comply with audit. Like most of these things the blame will get put on the past executive and processes before that "won't happen again, we promise".
That said, given DeVos and Crooks and most of the existing board were both around the CSA pre-CSB deal, they can't wipe hands totally clear of any responsibility or knowledge of the CSB deal, but also the way (and DeVos played) on how the CSA runs their operations.
Predictively, there will be some repirations made to the way CSA conducts buisness, apologies made for past sins from the past years (should be decades) and then CSB will wait for a favourable time to puff our their chest and announce tweaks to the deal with the CSA...all in hope of getting Feds off their back, getting the players off their back, and getting Rick Westhead off their back...by putting out the fires that Bontis and crew ( whom just followed in the shady dealings of the CSA executive the last 40+ years)! started and couldn't keep under control when Canadian soccer got into an unfamiliar spotlight of popularity 18 months ago.
As the one MP the article stated, the CSA handled abuse situations worse, and were more incompetent running their organization, than the much higher profile Hockey Canada situation.
