Goalies are voodoo, so you never know which one will get hot when you need them, see Vegas and Florida. All 3 of the Flames goalies could potentially do that.
Wolf also needs to play, if Marky is the starter, it's better for Wolf to play in the AHL then just sit on the bench and open the door.
In case of injury, its' always good to have NHL ready goalies, especially good goalies. You trade Vladar and one of Marky or Wolf get injured, and you are in trouble. Unless you have a 3rd goalie who is good, which most teams do not have.
I get the argument of not having veteran skaters preventing young skaters from making the team, but the goalie position is a little different. I think it's a great situation that Wolf doesn't have to clear waivers to go up and down and it's not like he has to travel either.
Unless the Flames get an incredible offer for Vladar, there is no point trading him.

Cause it really screws with all of the guys confidence.
Goalies are the most "stick to the routine" players on the team. Its why the 3-headed-monster scenario truly never works.
If Wolf is ready. then he has to be named to the team after camp.
Im guessing Vladars trade value will be highest this summer, so they have to pounce now, but only if they are certain Wolf is ready for NHL level shots etc.
