I see the point in retaining Vladar in case of injury. Markstrom is prone to injury. Vladar could potentially.
I think my game plan would be rolling with Markstrom and Vladar, but making it very clear to Wolf that he is absolutely in the plans long term. Figure out a deal at the deadline. Teams, especially contending ones, will generally look for a goalie if they need one or if they are the ones with injuries and not us.
I’m fine with either decision. It’s a tough one for Conroy but it’s definitely not the toughest one to tackle. Perhaps Vladar is packaged with one of the 7 UFAs for a better pick or prospect.
