He said he'd be willing if it made the team better.
That's not "somebody is getting moved" for 100% certain.
I think he was open to it but don't think it was something he was actively seeking out TBH.

Smoking Gun seems a bit strong to me.
Shanahan pretty much said why he was fired, he went into way to much detail about why he was fired. Contract asks, and lack of commitment.

I do think there was some conflict longer term between what Dubas and Shanahan's vision was for the team...I think what happened was the weird press conference and then Dubas contract ask opened the door for Shanahan to do what he wanted to do which was fire Dubas (and bring in Treliving since there was a rumor Shanahan wanted to do that going back to like October).
