They will run it back and them, their fans, and media will be dumbfounded when the result is the same.

I would say the majority of trades where core pieces are involved could be argued that the move was ‘forced’ or had some sort of pressure point being exerted. Horvat, PLD/Liane, Fiala, Timo Meier to name just a few off the top of my head.
