We have so much to address in this province and I can’t believe I’m wasting my time and energy coming to grips with the election results. We should be scaling clean energy projects, defending 2SLGBTQ++ rights, and addressing the coming climate catastrophe. Instead we have taken two steps back and are fighting Trumpism from completely rotting the fabric of society.
I am looking at leaving the province as soon as possible. But I feel like there is no place to go? At this point I can imagine applying for MAiD because this is getting unbearable.

I am not sure if you are active on social media or a lot of web forums like this, but do your mental health a favor and get off as soon as you can. Stay away from that garbage.
There is so much negativity across the board that it is destroying the fabric of society.
I know your disappointed and upset about everything, while other's are excited and happy. If the NDP would have won, the situation would be reversed for some as well.
Don't think of things like "impending doom" the sun will rise and your life should be the same as it was yesterday, the day before, last year and tomorrow. Albertan's are friendly people and you have been dealing with them in person as long as you have been here. Nothing like that will change.
When we always hear negative messaging across the board, it depresses us all and it makes us think things are worse than they are.
Stay strong and healthy
