You need a viable third party for that to exist and less Americanization of politics. Federally you can have more conversations because there is an outside chance the NDP can form government and people swing between Conservative and Liberal or more rarely NDP to Liberal. In Alberta and the US there is no middle ground because it is a two party state and the gap is widening. it is like the only two choices for the voting are the Flames and Oilers, #### gets ugly lol.
